This free course is designed for chief executives and senior leaders of small and medium-sized charities. It’s about leading AI across your whole organisation, a step on from using it yourself. If you’re still at the stage of getting to grips with AI yourself, please sign up for our four-week Getting Started With AI for Leaders course; it will familiarise you with the tools and processes, and get you ready for this second-stage course.
Most leaders know AI matters, and their teams are often already experimenting. The harder step is leading everyone through it: working out what AI means for your mission, letting people try things safely, and being clear about what your policy is - and what your team and your board need from you.
Over five weeks, this course gives you what you need to do that. You’ll build the start of an AI roadmap: a view on what AI means for your mission, safe ways for your team to experiment, a policy, a first plan, and a case for your board. And you’ll come away more confident leading your organisation through something that keeps changing.
The course consists of five weekly emails, each with a short read and a practical activity: some at your desk; some with your team. It’s self-paced: start when it suits, and come back to anything whenever you need it. You don’t need to be an AI expert.
