🆕 Four new digital, design and AI workshops: open to all

We're delighted to be opening up a new series of free online workshops to the whole sector, as part of our work on the Investing in the Power of Civil Society programme. The two-hour sessions are packed with practical tools, ideas and real-world examples.

There are multiple dates available for each, from September 2026 through to April 2027.

The four workshops are as below:

Introduction to AI: Basic principles, use cases and practical tips.

💡 Thinking About Digital Strategy: Mission alignment and practical planning.

💬 User-Centred Design Approaches: Service design basics and practical tools.

⚙️ Working With Digital Agencies: Partner selection and collaboration skills.

The workshops are free and open to all, so please do sign up yourself, and / or share the links with colleagues or peers.

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, the Investing in the Power of Civil Society pilot programme is a collaborative initiative, led by Lloyds Bank Foundation and co-developed with CAST, The AVOCADO Foundation, Groundwork, IVAR, NCVO, School for Social Entrepreneurs, Voice4Change England, and an advisor (Access Foundation)

November 2025: User research & AI workshop

In a 'The Curve' workshop, Tori Ellaway shared simple methods designed to help you discover your users’ needs. The session covered how to plan and run research with limited resources - and highlighted where AI can be used to help lighten the load. October 2025: Digital Leaders AI Week talks

Our Digital Leaders AI Week talk in October 2025 was just one of the many charity-led AI Week sessions, with speakers covering topics including ethics, accessibility, inclusivity, strategic thinking and AI for Boards.
