8th October, 11am: The Curve; AI Experiments for Charities
On Weds 8th October at 11am, CAST's Programme and Partnerships Lead David Scurr will join Third Sector Lab's Ross McCulloch for a 'The Curve' session designed to cut through the AI jargon and show what’s possible — and practical — for charities right now. The session will provide a primer on AI fundamentals, real-world lessons from CAST’s AI experiments - and free tools and resources. Free for anyone working with third sector organisations in the UK.
12th November, 11am: The Curve; Practical User Research & AI
This 90-minute 'The Curve' session will show you how to use simple, practical user research methods to hear directly from the people who matter most - your service users. We’ll cover how to plan and run research with limited time and resources, how to make sense of what you hear, and where AI can responsibly save you effort. Free for anyone working with third sector organisations in the UK.
13th November: CharityComms - Levelling up: AI skills
As part of CharityComms' online conference, our Programme and Partnerships lead David Scurr will explore how the barriers to getting started with AI can be overcome by cultivating a mindset of experimentation and problem solving. David will share a practical process and template for creating experiments - plus recent examples of how charities are using AI in innovative new ways. Tickets for the conference start at £115 + VAT pp.
18th November: The Future of Social Impact
The Future of Social Impact is a one-day, in-person gathering designed to bring together a diverse community of people working across sectors from social enterprises to charities, funders to public service to explore what it really takes to create meaningful, measurable change. CAST's Director Dan Sutch will be co-hosting a session alongside two charity speakers. Tickets for the event start at £150.
